Privacy notice
This website does not use tracking cookies and has no accounts. It counts visits anonymously so we can see which materials students use. The only personal details it asks for are on the tryouts form, described below.

Who runs this site
The site is run and maintained by StudyAid Kraków, a student organization at Jagiellonian University Medical College. It is hosted by Vercel Inc., which also stores the files you download.
Visit statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. They record which pages are opened, the referring site, the country, the browser and device type, and how fast pages load. When you download a file, we record the subject and the file that was downloaded.
Neither tool sets cookies. Vercel identifies a visit by a hash of the request that is thrown away after 24 hours, so the data cannot be tied to you. We only ever see totals. Details: Web Analytics privacy and Speed Insights privacy.
Cookies
The public pages set no cookies. If you sign in to the presenters area or the manage panel with the shared password, the site sets one cookie that keeps you signed in. It is needed for that sign-in to work, and it holds no name, email address or other personal detail.
If you send a tryout presentation, the site sets one cookie so this browser can show and change your booked time. It holds a random reference to your submission, not your name.
Tryouts
When you apply on the tryouts page, we collect your name, the subject you would like to present, your email or Instagram handle if you give one, your presentation file and the time slot you book.
We use them only to run this year's tryouts: to see your presentation, plan who presents when and contact you about it. They are stored privately with Vercel and only the StudyAid board can see them, behind a password. Other applicants only see that a time is taken, never by whom.
We delete the submissions and presentations after the tryout season ends.
Hosting and server logs
Like any web server, Vercel receives your IP address and browser details when your browser asks for a page or a file. Vercel uses them to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, as described in the Vercel privacy policy. StudyAid does not use them to identify visitors.
The fonts on this site are served from the site itself, so your browser does not contact Google to show them.
Instagram and Facebook
The site links to StudyAid on Instagram and Facebook but embeds no Instagram or Facebook code. The home page can show StudyAid's latest Instagram posts: this site fetches them from Instagram on its own server and shows the pictures from its own address, so your browser does not contact Instagram unless you open a post. When you follow a link or message us there, their own privacy policies apply.
